Introduction          GCSF is a cytokine that controls the production, differentiation, and function of granulocytes. The active protein is found extracellularly. Three transcript variants encoding three different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Granulocyte/macrophage colony-stimulating factors are cytokines that act in hematopoiesis by controlling the production, differentiation, and function of 2 related white cell populations of the blood, the granulocytes and the monocytes-macrophages. This csf induces granulocytes.

Shipping Conditions            Antibody is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature. 

Storage Procedures             In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4^oC in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20^oC. 

Reconstitution           Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use. Stability / Shelf LifeTwo years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4^oC. 

Applications          Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immuneprecipitation. 

Titer          By direct ELISA, 1:10,000 dilution will yield 0.4 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories).
