Introduction AIF1L is a cytoplasmic, cytokine-induced, calcium-binding protein which was discovered in rat cardiac allografts with chronic rejection. AIF1L protein is a marker of human microglia and is expressed by macrophages in injured skeletal muscle and regulates reduced proliferation and differentiation of satellite cells.
Description AIF1L produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 170 amino acids (1-150a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 19.2kDa.
AIF1L is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Source Escherichia Coli.
Physical Appearance Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Formulation The AIF1L protein solution (1mg/1ml) is formulated in 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0)
1mM DTT, 0.1mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
