Introduction DERF1 is a thiol protease that hydrolyzes proteins, with a preference for Phe or basic residues. DERF1 is a C1 peptidase family member. DERF1 has extensive endopeptidase specificity. DERF1 causes an allergic reaction in humans. Common symptoms of mite allergy are bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
Description The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the Der F1 epitopes 25-51, 74-95, 189-209 amino acids.
Method Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Purity Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.
Formulation 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 6.5, 100mM Sodium Phosphate and 8M urea.
Storage Der F1 although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C.
